MEET ALBERT NGO

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AT BROOKS LAW

Albert Ngo

Chief Operating Officer & Head of Personal Injury

Albert is from Wyoming, Michigan, a very small town where his parents owned a small, family-owned Chinese restaurant. Being exposed to business very early on in his life, Albert always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship. In high school, he started forming what would later become a successful on-demand iPhone repair company, A&E Fixit.

Albert would later attend Michigan State University with a major in Political Science. He interned at the Michigan House of Representatives while co-managing A&E Fixit, which was later accepted into the MSU Hatch, a student entrepreneurship consortium in Michigan State.

Albert graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 and was later accepted to Boston College Law School as a J.D. candidate. He was excited to leave his small-town life to try studying, working and living in a big city.

Albert went on to get a J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2020. At Boston College Law School, Albert got a taste of various fields of law. He gained experience in trademark and IP law while working at a start-up developing a dating app for dog lovers, gained public interest legal experience working for Community Legal Aid and Greater Boston Legal Services while serving his Cantonese Chinese community, and clerked at the Law Offices of Robert W. Joyce in Newton, MA, gaining experience in real estate and trusts & estates law. He also briefly worked for Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster as a legal intern in the tax department prior to the pandemic.

Before taking the bar exam, he partnered with another BC Law graduate to create Lawwly.com, a centralized database of free legal resources and tools aimed at lawyers and law students.

After passing the bar exam on his first try during the pandemic, Albert recently joined Brooks Law as a newly minted attorney. He one day hopes to use his Cantonese-speaking language skills to empower and serve the Cantonese Chinese community in Boston.

“It is my goal at Brooks Law to build a strong reputation of service for the Cantonese Chinese community comparable to the stellar track record that Brooks Law currently enjoys with the Spanish, Brazilian, and Portuguese-speaking communities in Boston.”

His focus is on personal injury law and is looking to expand his practice to worker’s compensation, SSD, and any other field of law where he can gain valuable experience in.
