Michael Hernandez was born in Passaic, New Jersey to Puerto Rican and Cuban parents. He spent every summer as a child living with his grandparents in Puerto Rico helping on the farm and learning about his culture. His family knew from a young age that he never took “no” for an answer and always had an argument up his sleeve. He knew from an early age that a career as an Attorney was what he wanted.
Michael graduated from Rutgers University in 2012, majoring in both Criminal Justice and Sociology. He then decided to move to Boston to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer at Suffolk University Law School in the heart of Boston. Michael went on to get a J.D. from Suffolk University in 2016.
While at Suffolk University he began working as a paralegal at a local personal injury firm. He then joined the law firm as an attorney focusing on personal injury cases. Through the years Michael has developed skills in litigation ranging from personal injury, subrogation, social security disability and criminal defense.
“I love being able to represent clients in all sorts of civil and criminal matters. Every day there is a new challenge and a new story that reminds you of why you became an attorney. Nothing beats the smile on your client’s face after a job well done.
Michael currently lives in Lynn and enjoys the vibrant diversity the city and surrounding neighborhoods have to offer.
